My name is Ryan Teixeira and I am a software architect. My most recent engagement was with Yahoo where I was the principal architect for the Latin America engineering team. I designed software systems, promoted Yahoo technology internally and externally, and enhanced the system documentation to promote better understanding of the various systems.
I have been a presented at RefreshMiami, a technology community in the South Florida area.
I have participated in several Yahoo hosted hack days including the Brazil version where I was the chief organizer.
I have been a technical adviser to several small companies looking to engage in technology upgrades and software development.
I find that I bring several strengths to any orgainzation where I am engaged. I have an extensive and varied technology background. I have a strong interest in innovation. I promote communication and team work. And I have a great drive to get things done.
My plans for the future are to continue in the software development field in an architect or development lead role. My goal is to stay in the South Florida area but I am open to any opportunity.
